Answer of the test :

Which answer did you choose ? If you chose any one answer, you fell for our clever trap lol :). The correct answer is all of the above. There is n single "correct" answer. There are only choices.

Choice A : The stay at homer

Staying home on a Friday night. For married people, it is called "life". For single people, it's a luxury. More often than you'd care to recall, your Firday nights have been spent seated across from mediocre date or in yet another bitching session with the girls. Staying home and doing nothing may seem likean attractive choice when compared to these options. Staying at home and doint nothing can be a healthy option when you are tried of the world and want to regroup. You're not an amateur, you don't need to go out just to say you went out.

So, tonight,  after finally getting off of a long conference call, Karen makes a quick trip to the gym and then retires to her sofa and uncorks a bottle of Geyser Creek Pinot Noir (1998), given to her by an in-th-meantimer who happened to have alfway decent taste in wine.

She had a week's worth of unopened mail to tend to, laundry in desperate need of washing, and an unwatched DVD from Netflix sitting on her coffee table. This was more than enought to occupy her for the evening. And besides, it would allow her to get up early tomorroa and tackle the weelend with a clear, hangover-free head. Yes, she'd finally visit that Monet exhibit, grad lunch with a friend, and even replace her old shower curtain.

She dons her favorite sweats, puts up her hair, and organizes her night. She puts her darks in the washing machine, then orders dinner, and has that load ready for the dryer once the sushi arrives. In the meantime, she'll sort her mail (mostly bills and, of course, two engagement party invites). Anything, really, to occupy her mind so that she's less aware she's home, alone.

The food arrives, just as the washer finishes its final spin cycle. The night was going according to plan. But about halwayinto the bottle of wine, having finished with her miso soup and sushi, she starts to fell a mild pang of curiosity. And though she had told herself she was going to take a break from online dating, her laptop beckoned, as it often did. She heeds the call.

When she logs onto Match.com or OasisActive.com she finds six new notes from prospective suitors. " I'm desired", the unopened messages seem to say. And for a moment she feels flush with the hope of romantic possibility. While she deletes four of the notes immediately ( 3 had no pics and 1 was from a married man looking for "fun"), the two that remain have potential, or so it seems. She decides not to reply that night ( what would these guys think if they knew she had been home on a Friday , answering her e-mails), but spends another 40 min browsing through the profiles. As often happens, she sees men she'd been out with before (some of whom, while less than stellar, never called ber for a second date). A small pond, and one filled by the same fish.

Slightly ruffled, but still giddy that she has seen few new options, she lof off and retires to her bedroom and the comfort of her bed. Another Friday night in the city comes to a close with a self-induced bang. Folding her laundry will wait until tomorrow.
